I like the DJ Danger Mouse mash-up/remix of the White Album and the Black Album (making the Grey Album) a lot better. Poor Jay Z, I just really don't know about his new stuff, and it sound so different juxtaposed with the old song.

I lost all my sympathy for Jay Z last night when I saw his 2008 Glastonbury performance on Youtube. Seriously, this guy can't sing for shit (which, I know, has never been something he's advertised), but his lackluster performance of 99 Problems sealed the deal. He may be a good writer, but I don't think he can perform very well.

I heard the DOA + 99 Problems remix before I heard the real DOA, and I have to say that the actual song is not remarkable in the slightest. Yeah, he's taking a stand and saying something about the direction the music industry is going, but as far as pop music goes, it's unimpressive.
