Trap

So, I keep feeding my venus fly trap, but I can't seem to get their little trap sprung so they will close

I have one too but I can't get it to eat anything.

I trapped a fly with a glass over it and the plant but I think the fly was too big cause it got scared and closed.

You're supposed to feed it little ants and some other bugs... that I can't remember. I've been dropping ants in their mouths, but i haven't been able to trigger their "i've caught something" response.

I need to get mine a terrarium, poor thing is out in the open.
