Jessie, that's an awesome idea. The first charity that jumped into my mind is Habitat for Humanity, since housing is still such a problem in NOLA. They've got a special site where you can donate for Katrina efforts (https://www.habitat.org/giving/donate.aspx?link=65&media=habitat&keyword=disaster_lend_hand&tg=katrina&rev=&source_code=10w39), and it's got a nifty little guide to what your donation could buy ($35 for shingles, etc.).

Peace,
Erin

Thanks! That's just the kind of donation I wanted to make! And I know Habitat for Humanity has done great things down in NOLA already. With the price of tattoos, I'll at least be able to buy someone a kitchen sink, maybe even a front door. :-) Thanks for the suggestion!

My vote is for shoulder blade, just because everrrrrrrrrrryone has a tattoo on their lower back. Plus it is more the style now to wear long shirts, so no one would really see it. Visiting you would be awesome, let me know when is a good time, and when I get some money, I'll be there. :-) And I don't think I mentioned that it's a really cool idea to match the price of the tattoo with a donation... then it will really have a lot of meaning.
