I got teary eyed a few times in the show and all out had tears running down my cheeks at the last part: it just reminded me so thoroughly how the HP phenomena is starting to wind down, as far as new things for us to squee about... :*(

That Sirius song with the mirror got me pretty sad too.

The sequel wasn't as fun as the first for me- a distinct lack of upbeat songs being a big factor- but it was really awesome and had way more heart. :)

Sadly, I know exactly how you feel. And I guess that's why this show makes me so happy, because it's some genuine fans just trying to keep the lovin' alive. That ending part was pretty damn awesome.
The mirror song was sad, and I felt bad for Snape in the memory scene (even though I'm not usually a big Snape-sympathizer in the Lily dept.)

You are right about it not being as much overall fun, but there were some parts that i had me tears with laughing. Mainly Umbridge (Joe Walker may be a stud-muffin, but he does a damn good crazy-woman) and the half naked Goyle centaur. Missed Ginny's vocals not being in this one as much though :(

But Emma's too pretty and it takes away from what makes up value Herms so much
I totally agree. I remember seeing promos for the movies and thinking 'That's not Hermione. She's just not that gorgeous'.

In first reading I really loved Sirius; on second reading I didn't like him that much. He's too much of an arrogant bastard to be really liked; a little childish too.

PoA? Really? I love that book because it doesn't deal so heavily with the Voldemort-arc, it just gives us a deeper insight in the magical world and in Hogwarts.

I'm glad to see that more people are liking the epilogue!

lol! I know I'm the only one that thinks this. But truth be told, I enjoyed the Voldemort arch, and I'm a huge fan of Ginny and I think she was mentioned like...three times at most in that book. My favorite parts were the Quidditch matches. loool

Epilogue = awesome! I just wish they hadn't aged the actors so much! xD
