Thank you for being such a wonderful companion and friend for 16 years. Born in Hove-actually, died in Hendon.

This is my favourite picture of me with you when you were brand new. I love you and I'm glad I was with you to hold you while you fell asleep.

I know I've already said it but I just want to say it again; I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet and my heart breaks for you. It may sound weird, but you're lucky to have been with her while it happened and I'm sure that she was comforted by your presence. There is no love like that between a pet and their owner; they're truly family.

That is a very beautiful picture. I'm sorry she had to leave you. It's a horrible feeling, the sense of loss. Part of one's history goes with the pet, I have found in my case. I hope you can find a new pet soon, if that's what you want.

I may get another cat one day, maybe - not for a while though...she was a one-off, but I think probably most people feel that way about their cats!
