My PCP never did call back, but I called them several times.  Different people kept answering the phone, so I suspect there is some kind of chaos going on there.  Either the Office Manager quit or is on vacation or etc., because trust me when I say this is not the usual thing that goes on when I need something, and I am trying to be (a patient)

While I have been known to appreciate the occasional euphoric libation, I don't think I'd dig the feeling when I wasn't expecting it. Or wanting it.
Your doctor's office sounds like our old one. My last visit there they kept me waiting for three hours. When she finally took me in the back she told me my blood pressure was elevated. I'm never quite sure how much I should swear on other people's LJs, so let's just say I said something along the lines of, "Y'THINK?". (Feel free to add any expletives you want. *I* did...)

Actually my doctor's office is normally nothing like this, which is why it's kind of a shock to my system. I have friends that wait for days for a call-back, and I'm always taken aback by the rudeness.

I think they're in transition right now, either the regular office manager has quit or gone on vacation. Hopefully things will settle down before I go back.
