Sweetie, 1) you are a fabulous writer and 2) even if you're not sure you're satisfied with the samples you sent in, the fact that you understand capitalization rules and where to put a comma will place you far ahead most people.

It's really stupid that weddings cost so much. Tim and I are being pretty conservative with our spending for this one, but it's still costing a few thousand. When you guys can afford it, at least you'll both be ready, right?

Forget how much your own wedding costs. It's expensive to even go to a wedding, and god forbid you're an actual bridesmaid. It would be far easier if everyone didn't get married in a span of a few years.
Plus chances are if you wait till you're more financially independent to get married, that your friends will also be more financially independent (better wedding gifts ;)). So, it could be worse.

And about the marriage thang, just as long as u and Brian have love, that's all u'll need. Marriage will come, and when it does, I'll be there to give u a hug!
