consistency what's that

I am kind of failing to keep this up, the biggest reason being I joined for LJ fandoms and am too busy with life/original fics to be a big part of them. It's kind of annoying and silly because I started out very enthusiastic about having fandoms/communities with whom I shared interests, but I'm seriously not a social person even online. It's like, ( Read more... )

Don't feel bad about dwindling fandom love, hun. It happens. Particularly when a series ends or stops being put out...I mean, as much as I hate to say it, Saiyuki is slowly taking a back seat to Pandora Hearts, if only because PH gets updated more regularly. It's only natural to gradually move past things once there's no way to follow up on them anymore, as sad as that is.

However, original work is also more...um...what's the word? Productive? I think? Well it looks better. So I hope your graphic novel and written novel go well! I'm looking forwards to seeing/reading whatever you come up with. The last book of yours you let me read was fantastic. :D

Which reminds me, I really ought to finish something of my own...I even know how the one is supposed to go.

PS: Writing sex scenes anywhere that others can see you is fantastically hilarious. My sister almost caught me writing one yesterday. XD;;;

I kind of feel like original work is more productive too. Or like, idk, more useful. Fanfiction is awesome but sometimes I get a little niggling voice in the back of my head going "DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE DERP YOU SHOULD BE WORKING ON YOUR NOVEL". And you know.

Also I can't believe I let you read that story *is embarrassed* but I'm glad that it didn't go over terribly ehehe ^///^

Yeah I noticed a little bit that OroKabu came and went and then GojyoHakkai came and went and now it's mostly Pandora Hearts... It does make me sad to leave move away from fandoms but I guess you're right & it is kind of natural. I don't know how some people keep up the momentum sometimes.

Also lol I make a point never to write sex scenes when anyone else is around D: I'm glad she didn't actually catch you!

OMG I know that nagging voice. Not fun. It's so meaaaan.

I had to drop OroKabu because Naruto got so damn stupid...I got sick of it. I think it's even still going. And I still love my Saiyuki boys, but with Minekura hospitalized...there haven't been a lot of updates. Boo-urns. But yeah. Fandom transitions happen. The really good ones come back later in all of the wonderful ways~.
