 So after you all cast your votes for Anne I actually sat down and watched "Becoming Jane" which is obviously the movie I would use. I feel like I've wasted your time by asking *before* I realized that there are far, far, far too few closeups of Anne to be of use. She's wearing the same expression of dreamy sadness in almost all of  them. Not much

I really liked it, maybe because it's about a writer, maybe because you see Pride and Prejudice coming to fruition, and there are moments, like in the garden that night...oooh. Of course my heart broke for the sister who lost her lovely sailor in the tropics. Yellow Jack did in fact kill about 50% of the newbies before they even got off the ship. :(

hehe. its okay i didn't like Becoming Jane that much either. Although I saw it with my Best Friend so I can't complain.
