OMG I'm in love!!! Best fucking chapter! And you're right, it is even better than what I've seen before, it's brilliant. Ok, where shall I start? You know I absolutely love Mercer's plot and how he fails bc he's just too small, too insignificant. "Bad pets." is wonderful

This is really great and the evidence is that you've interested me in two characaters I DESPISE. I want wring that disgusting Beckett's little neck for the destruction of a man he's not good enough to gaze up at!! Okay, I'll settle down. :) I especially liked the part where they struck each other and she just yanked him into her arms. He's a complex character and that line between wanting to be cared for and his natural reaction of wanting to hurt is very well done.
