When I was younger, I found myself staunchly pro-choice, and I still am: but now, being around children like my nieces and nephew, and knowing a number of great people who were adopted, I see abortion as the horrible thing it actually is...that being said, I know the difference between my personal feelings on abortion, and the absolute necessity of a pro-choice America.
An odd bit: When I was at MHC, I ran across a number of women who just would not or could not see why people would be pro-life. That worried me as much as when I'd hear 'absolute' arguments from the pro-life side of the fence.
I was always one of those people who appreciated the option of abortion, have provided financial and emotional assistance to people who have had them, but did not think I could get one myself
