Do you ever do really dumb things because you're not paying attention?

I was just in the bathroom, washing my hands, when I squeezed toothpaste into my hand instead of grabbing the soap. Then I looked at my hand for a minute, wondering how the hell the toothpaste got there.

Once I microwaved a bottle of ketchup. I found it there later, all full of condensation, and have no recollection of how it got there.
