Good god...hahaha. I definitely would not have done nothing - probably I would've walked out and said "hi, can I help you with anything? Do you need a bag?" and watched the look of horror spread across her face.

From this experience, we may conclude one of three things.

Either:
A) The cherries are delicious, as she has come back for more.
or
B) The cherries are delicious, as she has come back for more. However, the cherries are also quite poisonous and her absence is explained by a year-long stay in the hospital, recovering from the previous year's delicious cherries.
or
C) She is a comet.

In either case, you should probably check out those cherries to see what all the fuss is about!

(Or have someone else do it for you.)
