***SPOILER WARNING: This is all about the tv show The Walking Dead, season 6 episode 15. If you haven't seen it yet, why on earth are you here? =P ***
East
First off, that was a really good trailer that the show gave us last week. =P I'm pretty sure it threw us all off the track and we thought that Daryl was going to go after Carol, which he didn't. Talk about a spoiler-free trailer. Lol! =P
Anyway, on to the episode:
The opening sequence, though it seemed like the shortest one ever, left me breathless! Omg, did someone die? D= But after a quick rewind, I was sure Carol was safe. It was the guy (whoever it was) who sounded scared, not Carol.
In the shower scene, seeing the bruises, I thought perhaps Maggie already lost the baby. But Michonne calling her a pregnant lady told me otherwise. In any case, I think she will lose the baby. And... I think that might very well be the last shower she'll have with her husband, and that shot of the side mirror showing her at the gate might be the last time Glenn sees her. =(
I was thinking last week that Carol leaving was going to get someone killed. But it turns out... it's Daryl leaving that will get people killed. =/ All because of him being angry and impulsive.
Anyway, Carol was going East - the opposite direction to where the compound with satellites were, away from the Saviors. But she met five of them on the road on their way to Alexandria. Who'd have thought she had an automatic weapon hidden in her sleeve?
By the way, has Melissa McBride ever won an award for her work in TWD? Because she certainly deserves it. You can see the struggle Carol was having between wanting to just get away and not kill anymore, and the realization (or confirmation) that these armed people were on their way to Alexandria and mean her family harm, and that she's in a situation once again where she'll be forced to kill for them. In the end, I thought she got away uninjured. But if Morgan was right and that was her blood trail they were following, then that guy must have cut her with his knife. I wonder how bad it is...
Morgan: "What I believe: I'm not right. There is no right. It's just the wrong that doesn't pull you down." I think this means that in that world they live in, there is no right thing to do anymore, because you can't know what will happen in the future. You just have all these wrong things to choose from, and you choose the wrong that you can live with. It's like a choose the lesser evil sort of thing. Because if you keep on choosing the most evil thing to do, there will come a time when you won't be able to live with it anymore, and it will pull you down.
When Rick figured that those were Saviors and that they haven't ended them yet, and Morgan told him that he started something, I think Rick was starting to think that he might have made a mistake. That morning, he was still being cocky. But now, he's starting to think.
Next, Glenn, Michonne, and Rosita catch up with Daryl. I have to say I cringe every time people stop in the open to talk or argue. I mean, seriously, can't they find shelter first? Especially after what happened to Denise. Remember? You were all just standing there talking and suddenly, bolt to the head! I suppose since Daryl got his crossbow back, you all think a bullet to the head is more survivable?!?
Ok.
/end rant
Sorry.
Daryl must have left his tracking skills in Alexandria because... how come Dwight and his group turned out to be in the opposite direction of where he went? They were in Glenn and Michonne's direction. And these two, again, stop to talk while there were in the general vicinity of the place Denise's killers ran off to. Oh, brother. These people will be the death of me! Dx
And so they were captured. Right about the time that Glenn realized (or at least verbalized) that he thought it was just them and they had figured out the world, but they were wrong. The Hilltop, the Saviors... it's bigger. Then we were treated to Dwight's creepy 'hi'.
Ok. The next sequence with Rick and Morgan is probably my favorite part of this episode. In case it wasn't clear yet in my previous posts, I love Morgan, even though many have come to hate him of late. I think he is the most grounded character at the present time.
I am so glad he prevented Rick from shooting that guy. I mean, geez! What is wrong with you, Rick? I agree with everything Morgan said - they didn't even know anything about the guy, why shoot him just like that? All because of a bunch of maybes?
Look at it this way: let's say you are faced with this dilemma - to kill or not to kill someone.
- Wrong option #1 (remember, there is no right): kill him so he won't get the chance to kill you.
- Wrong option #2a: let him live, and then he comes back to kill you.
- Wrong option #2b: let him live, and then he comes back to save you.
Of course, if you kill him, he won't have a chance to save you either. There is no such thing as wrong option #1b. If you killed her then, instead of just sending her away, Carol wouldn't have been able to come back to save you all. And who's to say that this unknown guy, who Rick just almost shot, isn't meant to save them in the future?
Although, when Morgan started telling Rick about the Wolf that he kept in Alexandria, my first thought was: is this the right time to tell Rick this? I'm glad he brought the story back to Carl. That certainly did the trick. And although it did feel kind of out of place, Rick telling Morgan about the protein bar is his way of saying we're cool.
Now, I'm surprised that Rick got home safe because... weren't they being followed by that one Savior that survived the Carol storm? So either that guy continued to follow Morgan, or... could he have gone back ahead of Rick and stowed away in the car? Oh and, was Abraham saying he wanted a baby? I do hope he gets the chance... while Maggie, I think she is losing hers. =(
Finally, back to Daryl and Rosita who are still letting their emotions keep them from paying attention to what they're doing. Creepy Dwight says hi again, and shoots. You'll be alright though. I don't think Daryl is dead. At least not yet.
Oki doki. Predictions time!
The following are my guesses based on the show so far, including the trailer for the season finale.
Giving you a chance to turn back...

Still here?
Ok. Let's proceed.
Whose last day on earth will it be?
I think Glenn, for one. As I said above, I think that was his last shower with and the last time he'll see Maggie. Because even if Negan brings them all back to Alexandria to do the deed there, Maggie won't be there because she'll be in Hilltop. Because surely they are going to bring her to the OB at Hilltop to save her life. Yes, she'll live. But she'll lose the baby. =(
Daryl may still die. He's still alive but will probably lose an arm. I'll draw a parallel between him and Donnie, who Carol shot. The problem with Donnie was that he didn't get immediate help for his arm, and he died. Daryl, on the other hand, is at the hands of Saviors who may be quite skilled at quick amputations (remember the Saviors at the burnt forest who immediately cut off the hand of the one that got bit?). Dwight saying 'you'll be alright' makes me think he still has use for Daryl and will keep him alive, at least temporarily.
Will Abraham die? He was talking about babies. I hope he lives.
Will Rick die? I considered that he might, but after his talk with Morgan in this episode, I think he'll live.
Everything has a return. Judith will die. =( Father Gabriel will, too. Though probably not immediately because it seems he was still walking around with a bloody arm/hand clutching a rosary - if that was him in the trailer.
***EDIT: Turns out the person with the rosary in the trailer is the Savior who survived Carol and is trying to go after her. So perhaps Father Gabriel will survive. And if he does, then I a higher hope that Judith does, too.
Speaking of the trailer, there's a part there where Morgan is riding a horse on the road. So I was thinking: it's either he just found the horse of the guy Rick almost shot. Or... he found the guy again, made friends with him, found his horse, and Morgan borrowed the horse. Also, maybe that guy is from a 3rd (perhaps friendly) community we haven't met yet who have been trading with the Hilltop which explains why the guy has a Hilltop spear. Now, Morgan was looking for Carol, right? I'm sure Morgan finds her somehow. But if she's injured, maybe Morgan left her at that friendly community while he goes back to Alexandria. And yes, they both live. Hopefully.
I think that's it for now. =)
