Good write-up! The episode made steam blow out of my ears.

Have you heard the audio? It wasn't in the show (just turned way way way down, according to some). On the audio you hear horrific screaming and what sounds like Maggie screaming "Glenn!" Some say it sounds like "Daryl!" But who knows?

Thanks! =)

And yes, I've heard that but the sounds they labeled as "Glenn!", sounds like just screaming to me. Lol! =P It didn't sound like any name at all. The only sound that seemed right was when supposedly Glenn (if he was the one being pounded) started saying "Mag..." but then... maybe Glenn did say that (from somewhere to the right) not because he was being hit on the head but maybe... what if Maggie moved suddenly when Abraham was first hit - she was kneeling right next to Abraham - and what if Glenn's first reaction was to call out to Maggie in fear that she might get hit, too? I don't know. =P Still don't think it was Glenn from the scenes.

I felt that Abe offering himself as the victim when he straightened himself kinda like, "I can take it, choose me" made Negan less likely to pick him. But then again, maybe it would make him pick him. When I was watching I just got the immediate impression that while trying to save everyone else by sacrificing himself, Abe ensured that he wouldn't be picked.

I think others would also be able to take it like a champ, though Abe is certainly one of the tougher ones. (I guess? Wasn't he half wanting to die at one point? I remember Maggie giving him a pep talk. It's possible he isn't as tough as he seems.)

Abe talking about being ready for kids certainly makes him sound like a likely victim though. Does Sasha need more losses? Not really...

I don't know. I guess we don't really know Negan well enough to be able to guess what his criteria would be in choosing his victim. =P Would he want to get of rid of the strongest so that there would be less danger of that one going against him in the future? Or would he want to keep the strongest alive so that they will one day become his elite? I don't know ( ... )
