I think part of you knows what to do. You don't have to sink to Adriel's level if you break things up with him but remain his friend.. you have lots of room to work with and to make it your very own. It's obvious he's on the rebound and needs to set things straight first before starting another relationship. Maybe the time for the both of you isn't right at the moment and in a couple of months it will be...? You don't have to rush anything if it's meant to be and you certainly don't have to get hurt again and again, how dissappointing. You wonder why he's not learned his lesson... what about you?
glad you got the job you wanted and i hope you enjoy it. i know you're smart, no surprise to hear you 'breeze through' exams. I LOVE you and want the best, hope you know that, always here for you.

probably not. once again, i would be completely justified in breaking up with him. but, call me weak, i don't want to. i really enjoy our relationship. we always have a good time together, and we have great chemistry. i also think being his friend would be a little more difficult because i would see him a LOT less. neither of us drive. i do know that this is his last chance, and i hate saying that.
about him being on the rebound, they broke up last summer. the problem (i think) is that they still see each other a couple times a week at school. and i don't think she's moving on either.
arg, i don't know. i'm trying to make the best of the situation, for all of us.

I completely and entirely concur with Anonymous #1. You're worth more than that. If it isn't meant to be between the both of you, then it isn't meant to be. Nothing wrong with being friends, as hard as that might be for you to conceive. Isn't it more difficult to go through this kind of torture?
