18 is generally accepted as a "big" birthday in my world, but 16 can be equally fun. I hope you enjoy yourself.

I've heard 18 is big, too. Maybe 16 isn't as big because they're too close together.

When one turns 18 where I am from, one is allowed to drink alcohol if one so chooses. I think the tradition extends elsewhere.

If you were to partake here, I do not think anyone would hold it against you. It may even speed things along.

I think it was that way on the Islands too. When I was a lot younger I wanted to have some but my mom said no...and then I asked my dad and he gave me some, and it tasted really terrible! Then he said something about "teaching me a lesson."

Yeah I know there's lots of alcohol around here. I haven't tried it. It's not like I really need it...
