Oh, that's awful. Don't you have any online? That's a huge fear of mine, and partly why I post everything to LJ. That, and email myself copies compulsively. Uuuuuuuuugh technology.

some online, yeah - really hoping they can..I dont know...datamine or whatever?A big problem is that the works-in-progress are missing.
Most of, if not all, finished work is available to me..but the things that were nearly there, or never there? Those are the casualties.
I'm going to do a better job of backing things up now.

don't throw out the parts. maybe we can rescue the drive? don't give up. How much did you lose? Do you need any of the stuff from the book?

And yeah, I could use an hour with my book to copy it over.
