So today I saw an ambulance making its way through the crowded Tokyo streets. In addition to the sirens, etc... there was totally a person inside the ambulance apologizing to everybody for the disturbance through a megaphone.

isn't that the best!? and they do the little chopping motion with their hands to excuse their trespassing the paths of others. i miss that sort of overexaggerated sense of guilt. sigh. are you going to miss turkey day?
