I don't understand how, after scanning a vehicle, the robots manage to also duplicate the car seats. I didn't get a good look at the interior of the Bumblebee upgrade, but I assume it was black leatherette. Black leatherette and upholstery foam are nonmechanical components. No, it's a Camaro. And a damn sexy one at that.

Agreed with your assessment but who needs logic when you have giant robots fighting each other? The action was amazing, the animation outstanding... only the dialogue/storyline was lacking.

Oh, and what was up with Megatron?

But then, if the damn thing is that advanced, why do the Transformers need large-scale gears and wheels and joints at all? And leatherette seats? Logically, they'd all look like T1000.because gears & wheels & moving parts look sexy, is all ( ... )

By 'superstructure', you mean 'the man', right (as in 'establishment')?

Yeah, now that you mention it, I agree. Hah, it's funny how our college majors so affect the way we think about film! Maybe Joëlle will comment about how gracefully (or not) the robots were made to move, hahahahah.

Thanks for watching my set last monday, btw. Am glad you liked it!

yeah that's the academic name for The Man.

and yeah, i'd like to think that the reason for going to the university is more about getting to know our particular sensibilities about the world, picking up our own lenses to view it, rather than the practical reason of just picking up a trade or profession. i mean i was surprised that i can actually read movies, as soon as i took it seriously - and i've had a lifetime of an education already, having a mom who likes to watch tons of it. maybe it's the same with our particular instruments, why some personalities ring true with their particular tool.

well, hope to catch another set soon. rakenrol !)
