Krista, I like your technique and tone here. I wonder if he'd be angrier or more disturbed- or maybe not. Interestingly, I know a man whose wife did the same thing too, but he's not religious. It's clear and accurate, though somewhat dull. Have you read Faulkner's "A Rose for Emily," a short story?
