Real Life Update
Hey all,
I have a bunch of real life drama & momma trauma to report:
It's been a very serious time at my house these past few months. Especially, these last three weeks. Two weeks ago, I had to rush mom to the ER for chest pains - docs still don't know what exactly that was - after a heart cath, a check for a blood clots in her lungs, etc. Don't you just love Lupus. It fucks with everything. This is what has been dubbed my "momma trauma."
She had surgery Monday to replace the port-a-cath she just had placed in Jan. (Lupus again) Another trip to the ER that evening due to a massive blood seepage, but she's okay.
This past Tuesday I had an endometrial biopsy. In July I had three very heavy periods. Yes, three! Two in August. I was like FML! SRSLY. So, we did the biopsy. Just got called by the doc. Don't you love doctors who actually call you after hours and don't make you wait for the results over a weekend. Bless her. So WHEW...no cancer; no pre-cancerous cells; just a benign polyp. We are going to adjust some meds and hopefully get me some relief.
To to recap my summer & early fall -- besides what I listed above. I broke my foot falling down a flight of stairs beginning of July; had pneumonia in July; had to put all three of my dogs to sleep for various reasons in July; had bronchitis twice in August; and a serious lupus attack this past week, which was due to the above running around like a chicken with its head chopped off taking care of mom the past two weeks. And that was just me. lol
So yeah, that's why I'm not really on LJ except the random read.
