New and Improved Permissions post

With Erim's canon update I have a lot better idea of what her powers are since they are better defined.

Abilities:

Transformation - Erim has a limited ability to transform herself. She can use the human form that is referred to as Iris, then there is a human/Sinistral form and then there is a very creepy looking dark angelish form she uses for battle. The last form is capable of flight since it has a set of four large wings. And of note, in the first two forms she feels totally human. Maxim commented that her hand felt warm in the last scenes. In the third, she's very hard to attack and her battle is normally unwinnable because you can't even attack her (and Maxim doesn't want to anyhow). There is, however a battle in the alternate ending where she can be defeated.

Resurrection - It has been confirmed that Erim is capable of true resurrection. In fact canon says she is the one who originally gave life to the first creatures on earth. She can resurrect a human, but rarely will use this and in fact was questioned why she resurrected Maxim in the first place after she killed him. She also is responsible for resurrecting her fellow Sinistrals. So she's pretty much only going to use this in the case of people she really cares about (and obviously with permissions). Whether this can bypass a Death Penalty or not is up to the mods, but it would most definitely bypass having to wait a week to return.

Teleportation - Still has it, still is quite powerful. She doesn't even need to be present to teleport someone and can indeed teleport a group. It's a very rare thing in her canon now.

Healing - Resurrection isn't the only thing she can do, she's also very capable of healing even mortal wounds. She healed Maxim more than once, and also saved Prince Leon from a fatal wound.

Attacking - She uses swords made of deadly light to attack (basically like lasers). And she spams them massively and they hurt a lot. She also has another attack that is pretty much an instant kill in canon unless the character has a very high rating in a particular stat or special titles that allow them to survive massive attacks like this. Of course, the power cap will affect this.

Energy waves - It's been defined in the canon now that anyone is capable of detecting at least basics about energy waves coming from individuals and objects (a normal person can usually just tell an amount and good or bad). Erim is especially good at this and can even get emotions, power level and other things from them (like she comments about how some people's waves are filled with hope at one point). She also can hide and change her own waves and dampen the waves of others to make them appear less powerful. She was actually able to do this to the point that even her fellow Sinistrals could not figure out who she was when they should have been able to identify her energy waves. She can also definitely pick out patterns to the waves to be able to tell an individual apart from another, but this is usually going to be in the case of people with stronger waves (IE Most of Luceti). I'll probably have to handle this with a new permissions post (and update on other permissions posts, since canon made it evident that she dampens her own waves so people can't tell she's not human.

Barriers - She is capable of creating a barrier that can shield from damage. It won't last forever, but it did completely nullify a laser attack for a decent amount of time.

Granting Powers - It is implied in canon that the Sinistrals can grant magical abilities to regular humans and there is a very blatant example of this in Idura who has the ability to summon monsters and teleport thanks to Gades and Amon. Erim did not grant abilities to any humans, but she is technically able to. If this ever comes up, it will only be done with mod and player permission.

Ability to kill her - This is a very tricky thing because basically in canon there is only one weapon capable of killing her, the Dual Blade. Unless someone brings in a very late canon Maxim (or Daos before he loses it), that weapon isn't going to exist here. And the Dual Blade is a very unique weapon because it isn't just a holy weapon, it also has the capability to manipulate time and boost energy waves. But since Erim is not an outright villain who is going to attack people, likely going to keep it that way, because well, killing her is also a pretty nasty thing. Sinistrals have such strong energy waves that even their residual waves are capable of doing great harm and they can still act after their death for a time via the residual waves, like Daos was still able to teleport people and try to cause Doom Island to crash into a human city. Erim was still able to attack Maxim after her supposed death by Daos. So basically what will exist in Luceti is that she is capable of regeneration and basically would not be able to actually be killed (basically something like Jack Harkness, someone can deliver a lethal blow, but she can heal it before she truly dies).

It's not impossible for someone here to kill her, but they need to pull off the following three things:

1. They must be more powerful than her. Her canon says to kill a Sinistral, the person must have energy waves as powerful, or more powerful than the Sinistral.
2. They must be able to stop her regeneration powers. In canon this requires an item with the ability to manipulate time, but there may be other ways to accomplish this (like the tunnels for instance)
3. And the obvious, actually deal a lethal blow.

Now here's what I need from players. Most of her abilities I would require advance permissions to use anyhow, like healing, resurrection and attacking people. However, her ability to detect energy waves is a lot like psychic powers - a combination of empathy and aura reading to be exact, so I need to know what people are okay with.

1. Are you okay with Erim being able to detect your character's energy waves? Just need a yes or no here. More specifics can be given in the later questions if you are all right with her being able to detect some things and not others. If you are not okay with it and would prefer that I not tag your character, just tell me.

Also, this is only going to apply to action posts. She cannot detect energy waves via written or voice posts.

2. Are you all right with her getting a basic idea of your character's power level? If so, what is it? This isn't going to reveal to her specific powers, especially if such powers don't exist in her canon.

As far as power levels we'll make this simple, and here's some explanations:

Low - This is going to be a very ordinary and mundane human. Basically most people with no special powers or great talents are going to fall into this category. However, it is also possible that someone from an early time point may fall here. Normally, most of a human population will fall in this level, but Luceti is full of the not ordinary humans, so I doubt many (if any at all) will be in this category. Basically this is going to be more like the random townspeople you speak to in games, the nameless and faceless masses in a TV show or anime, etc.

Medium - Most of Luceti's population will fall here. This is going to be people who do indeed have abilities, but aren't quite to the point of being at high. Also, a very early canon video game protagonist would fall here because their potential has not yet been developed, but they are far from ordinary. It isn't required that someone is able to fight to fall here, someone with a great talent for music for instance could easily be this sort of person. Most of a canon's supporting cast will fall here.

High - This is going to be the very amazing people. Most post game video game protagonists for instance will fall here, especially if they faced a god or a powerful supernatural being and won. Also, very strong supernatural creatures such as gods, angels, demons, etc. will be this type of person. This is basically going to be Luceti's most powerful.

If you aren't sure where your character would be, feel free to ask me and give me an idea of abilities and what they do in canon, and I'll be happy to try and figure it out on my own. But overall, if your character has powers or any special talent, they would be at least medium. Like Phoenix Wright for instance may be completely mundane, but he is a very good lawyer with a lot of sheer determination and stubbornness that accomplishes amazing things for his clients.

3. Are you all right with her detecting your character's emotions? If so, what is normal for them? While emotions do change, characters do tend to have a more default emotion. For instance, an optimistic character is going to often be filled with hope, but someone who hates this place will be filled with despair. Someone violent like Yuber will often have a darkness in him that hints at danger.
