Weekend in LA was nice ... hung out with friends I hadn't seen in 1-2 years ... a lot of driving around looking at the city, drove out to Palmdale for a bit, had a picnic at a beach up in Malibu - great spot, parking in a neighborhood, walk down a stairway, and there's a quiet little beach area with a few families around.
