Holy rusted metal, you guys!

Remember when I said that I was way behind on my word count, and that I'd basically have to double my 7000 word novel today in order to get back on track? And how I was whinging that I wanted to write, but couldn't just sit down and do it?

This is the part where I'm a BAMF... )

I'm impressed. I think the most I've ever written in one day was about 4500 words.

Personally, I am just about where I should be with my word count (a little ahead for which I am very proud of myself). I did not get to do much over the weekend work either because I had a research paper, but since I knew it was coming, I planned for it last week. So my word count looked fabulous last week while now I'm barely ahead. Oh well.

Good luck! I hope your steam does not run out anytime soon.

My previous record was about 3500 words, so this is a big improvement for me too! It helps that I pretty much knew what was going to happen up though this scene. Afterwards will probably be harder, but I also won't have to play catch up as much.
Good job planning for the research paper! That's way more foresight than I would have managed!

Woo! I'm still just plugging away at 2000 words/day, so I broke 21,000 just a bit ago. (I wrote 3000 one day, but writing too much tends to result in major burnout.)

Getting closer to that time where I end up having no idea what's going on, though. Sigh. Still in favor of a 20,000 word orgy.
