I really like these first three chapters. You've set up a very nice, realistic post-battle scenario. Can't wait to see where this leads!

Again, bravo for tackling the problem of Hermione and Ron instead of just killing him off. This was very well-done. It rings true to the kind of awkwardness that exists between two teenagers who start a relationship that isn't quite right for them. In fact, I remember being in similar positions (sans the spell, thank god :-P) and saying the kinds of desperate reassurances to each other... it can go on and on until one day someone realizes that they just can't stand it anymore! Great writing.
