The job hunt continues, I applied/interviewed at a restaurant at an aquarium in downtown Denver today. It seems like a cool place and I really hope I get this job so PLEAAAASE pray for me! I think the interview went well, the lady who interviewed me really liked a lot of my answers to the questions presented and I smiled/kept eye contact most of ( Read more... )

Dude it's crazy right now how many people are unemployed. I'm sure you will find a job in a restaurant though because you have prior experience. I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar as well. I took lessons for awhile, but I couldn't handle taking guitar and piano lessons. I am turning 20 on the 12th -- I had no idea we were so close in age! Haha do you have any cool plans for your birthday?

That's I'm hoping, that they'll see my restaurant experience and approve. I was thinking of trying something new out entirely but the way the economy is, I'll take what I can get.

I guess I should think about what I want for my birthday my mind's been so busy with other stuff that I honestly had completely forgotten.

My mum bought me an acoustic guitar for my birthday 2 years ago and it's still lying around. haha. Gonna buy new strings tmr then I'll start learning. Really inspired by a song my pastor wrote, so all cos of that song, I'll learn how to play the guitar. LOL!

that's cool. I really just want to learn an instrument, the piano's out, drums are cool but not interested in learning, bass is okay, guitar seems the most appealing to me. Good luck with your lessons.

The trafficking of people is horrible. I wish people would be kinder and more humane. But that's asking so much.

I wish you the best in the job hunt. It's so nerve wrecking to go on that quest.

Jeez, it's such a twisted and inhumane thing. I remember in the documentary how they brought one little girl out to the undercover investigators and she was terrified at the thought of what they were going to do with her.

I'm keeping my head up with the job hunt.

Tell me about it man. There's just crazy people out there that thrive on fear and pain. Nasty.
