YEAH WOO!!!! XD XD XD XD XD XDDD
Okay 'cause like, we tennis teamers had Rumson Fair Haven today, right? So I was super nervous and all and my warmup was pretty darn bad. However, Linda had something weird going on with her groundstrokes and all and we were losing 0-2 like OMG! =0 Then I was all, 'kay I have to push the team forward! and I got on the offensive, poaching for every shot.
We won the first set 6-4. Second set, we completely beast them up to 4-0 and lose one game, then win two more so it's 6-1. Ohhh yeah. >=D
Beating RFH means that we (as first doubles) have to win at least one more match (either RBC on Monday or Squan on Thursday) in order to make the 75% winning qualification for states doubles. Wooo!!! I think we should be able to beat RBC easy, if I play like I did today. BECAUSE I BEASTED. YEAH. XD
Didn't think I'd be able to play doubles so well, but I really am like sooper. Something like that. So we as a team beat RFH 5-0. The thing is, first singles for Rumson was out today for some reason, so all singles got pushed up (second played first, third as second, fourth as third), so we completely blew away the opposition in singles. In general, however, Rumson's doubs are like CRAZY but their previous crazy doubles playing coach got fired for some stupid reason (didn't name some kid captain or whatever) so now their doubles aren't as strong. Oh, right, and their crazy first doubs graduated. Riight.
In any case, it was like 6:30 by the time we were done, because RFH only has three courts and we had five matches to play (doubles had to wait until singles were over, which didn't take long). So we got back late just in time (around 7:10? 7:20?) to make the first quarter of the Holmdel v. SJV football game.
Yeah normally I don't watch football games, but tonight all sports teams had to go because it was some half-time sports pep rally thing. Yeahhh. So anyway as we're walking towards the field, WE SCORE A TOUCHDOWN!!! WOOO!!! YEAH!!! CRAZY!!! But then like two seconds later SJV scored. Haha but they didn't get the bonus. n00bs.
Sat with Greg Cheng and some other kids and Greg and I were like WOOO YEAHHH *SCREAM YELL SCREAM MOAR* GO HOLMDEL! CHEERS ALONG WITH CHEERLEADERS! ETCETERA!!! so we had like major school spirit. Mom and Sarah were both like YEAH WOO as well, mom with her bball sweater and Sarah with her cheerleader outfit. Yeahh we were cool, standing up every two minutes to cheer.
I think we drew a lot of attention (especially at the end, when Cody joined us and started dancing) and I was like YEEUH REPRESENT!!! because all the other azns around were like uhhh idk what to do at football games. I think attending so many basketball games has an effect on how much school spirit I have. =D Have to admit, though, I am crazy school spirit. Compared to the other kids in Holmdel.
Yeah so by halftime it was like 14-6. Yay! Pep rally thing, whatever, whatever, whatever, tennis team is called, we're the only ones yelling and screaming (I LED THE PACK! YEAH! Haha...I'm cool. Not), go back, I get hit in the head with a red bugle that some shirtless Holmdel guy was holding, continue cheering. Third quarter goes by and like nothing happened. Really.
Then last quarter we score a TOUCHDOWNNNN and then thirty seconds from the end of the game we score ANOTHER TOUCHDOWNNNNN! YAY! 26-6, final score. Ohhh yeah.
This game (to me) was super important for us to win, because there were SO MANY FREAKING PEOPLE and if we lost, no one would ever go to any Holmdel football team ever again. Yes that is good logic. It is good we won.
Dude I like barely followed the game all the way through. The only football I know is from Eyeshield21. =P Which reminds me how I have to catch up on that, because it is SO GOOD. And SO CRAZY.
Yeah okay I'm done. Chinese School tomorrow. kbai.
