Well, I believe that college is about more than getting a degree so that you can have a decent paying job. It's about learning, and gaining life experience, and it is an experience that can never be replaced. So I say you should dfinitely go to college, and if you decide afterwards that what you really want to do is make-up then great, do that. But don't sacrifice a college education for what you think it is you want to do now, because you are still young, you have your whole life ahead of you, and you want to keep your options open. And hey, maye you can take some business classes and open your own salon someday.

I agree with the first person. You can always have the dream/goal of being a make-up artist, but it is also good to have a college degree to fall back on and use to get jobs. Yes, I want to be a writer and maybe even a performer, but I'm also getting a college degree so I can work as a counselor to pay the rent until my "big break" comes.
