steph, if *i* can get contacts, you can too! haha i really hate having stuff in my eye and the day i went to go get contacts, its took like 45 mins AT LEAST to finally get them in my eye cuz i kept on edging away haha...they're like "well you can try again tmr if you want" "NO! i'm going to get them in TODAY!"

Forgive me for sounding like a commercial, but iVision has a spiffy 2-for-1 deal where when you buy a new pair of glasses, you can subsitute a 6-month supply of contacts instead of a second pair of glasses. That's what I did last year, and since I only wear contacts once a week (if that), I've stretched out the 6 months' worth into...years! Anyway, Eric Neaves knows more about it than I do ('cause he works there), so you'd be better asking him.

Oh, and I had a fair bit of trouble getting them in at the start as well, but like most things, it gets easier over time.
