Within a week of (Tots) coming home from the US, we were all set to celebrate his birthday. Therefore, no amount of long hours in class, or obligatory client dinners, or mile high task lists at work could make us postpone dinner. So Tots is back from spending the Holidays in the US with his family. :) After having dinner with him and the Sunday group for a couple of nights in a row, tracking his luggages which were somehow still in Detroit, and making sure his phone is working just fine, we finally remembered to take pictures. I'm old enough and I suppose I know enough but there is still a challenge into figuring out when and how to walk away. :(

I just came home from our annual post Christmas dinner with my girls and my professors. We've been at it for a decade, celebrating Christmas after all the other mandatory Christmas parties are out of the way. :)

I'm so giddy with happiness and so glad to be with the professors again. :) I miss them already. Will post pictures as soon as I get those ( Read more... )

I vaguely remember how I felt last year, when 2007 was drawing to a close. I remember being excited about 2008, but I did not know how much it had in store for me. So before 2009 rolls in let me just recount what I got for 2008:

Going through the hours of the 24th until you crossover the 25th of December is not the same as it was when I was a kid. It's not less fun, it's just different. Having said that, let me come clean and say that I was absolutely drunk during Christmas eve.

Yup, because getting drunk is the best way to go through the Holidays. :)

Can I just say that I am so giddy about the upcoming beach trip? :) I cannpt wait. :)
