In the experiences I've come I've come in contact with, most people that cheat on their significant others do it because they want to escape the monotony of their current relationship.

I suppose you can love the person you are cheating with, but this probably just means that the person you and the person you are married to/in a relationship with were not meant to be together.

I generally don't think that it is forgiveable. I would rather my girlfriend tell me that she is tired of our relationship and wants to see other other people. I wouldn't want to be lied to.

I 100% agree with ryan. I think they're just bored ya know? They could use some spice and a random bang is that spice. you wont find that next to the oregono in the kitchen...

...but you could possibly find some unused condoms...HYOOOH!

I don't think cheating indicates how someone truly feels about their partner, its something that needs to be talked about BEFORE it happens. It needs to be known how open a relationship is. I had one rough relationship where we had open sexual ideas and it turned into her cheating because she didnt confront me due to so. It can be forgivable in the case of the open relationship. Although this is true,m in a closed sexual relationship it is unacceptable its something that obviously will hurt your partner. there is my stance. Personally I don't think I'd ever have another open relationship.
