That was very good. The whole use of "you" confused me at first, but was very powerful as it developed. Now you need to write a story where Ian and Anthony get married. :P

I'm surprised no one has written a fanfic of Ian and Anthony get married...
SOMEONE GET TO IT. That someone is either orangefriday, michaelangelo24 or anyone else who is an amazing writer :)

Sadly sweet (: I loved it though it wasn't Ian and Anthony get married ):

I wasn't going to read it when I saw the words "one-sided feelings." but I couldn't resist because you're an amazing author.

D: Now excuse me while I wallow in sadness and write the sickliest fluff anyone's ever read/written :B

Yes, fluff will always be a remedy for sadness. *throws fluff all around*

And you are definitely excused to go write your fic because I'll be waiting patiently with a pitchfork for it.

*evil*

Anyway.. thanks for reading!

Actually, I'm a bit surprised no one has written a wedding yet. I'm not so good with happy/lovey stories, so I'll sit this one out. :P

Anyway: "He holds you a party, yells enthusiastically and brags to everyone that he’s the Best Man." <---This is my favorite line (the whole paragraph is thought provoking, even though it's so simple and relateable).

I love this story just because of theme; most people follow the norm (get married to the opposite sex, have children, die...not that there is anything wrong with this, as long as the person is happy) even if it costs them true happiness. It's sad, when you generalize it like this story has.

<3 LOVED IT!!!

I got the idea for the story it while I was studying families in the 1950s and the American Dream and all those norms that shape our society today. We were discussing in class about how it looked so good on the outside, but behind closed doors, so many people were being stigmatized or were unhappy because that's what was expected.

Enough of my history lesson... YAY! I'm glad you liked it :)

I liked your history lesson. ;) Now the American Dream is to own every new piece of technology possible so people can impress each other. I never understood this and I probably never will...
