TV-Blogging: ELEMENTARY

Right off the bat, I’d like to say, this review will completely and wholly compare every single thing that BBC Sherlock has ever done. There is no way around it. I CAN'T give the show a fair and unbiased review because:; 1) BBC’s Sherlock was an amazing hit and if you’re going to follow such a ground-breaking, earth shattering, heart imploding ( Read more... )

The only Sherlock Holmes story I remember (I haven't read all of them) having anything to do with redheads was the one with the Red-Headed League, but other than that, not really.

LOL! What a funny case to hire Wilson because he has red hair so they can rob a bank.

Hm, interesting.
Like I told you, when I was watching I just took in all the information and didn't really think about why the husband wanted to kill the wife...WTF NOT EXPLAINED.

Maybe it was explained in one sentence that we never caught on (they do that so much on Glee - like when they spent a whole episode getting Trouty Mouth and Mercedes together - only to have their break up announced in one sentence by Emma in the next episode. D'oh!). Or we have to assume the husband just liked to kill people. Or she's rich? I don't know.

Okay! Let me know what you think. I hope your thoughts about the show won't be as cruel and mean as mine LOL!

Ahhhhh, I see now why he killed her. Thanks for clearing that up!

The sober companion is so... hard to believe. Maybe they'll explain why the father chose Watson and maybe more of the process of this sober companion-thing. I would think they would need to prepare and get to know each other before jumping into each other's apartments!

I do wonder how much damage Sherlock went through because of the woman. Oh oh! MAYBE ITS THE WOMAN! OoOooOoooOoOo! Now I'm excited :)

Oh yes, I see the Whovians are going through something crazy and I don't know what, but I saw this real nice post on Tumblr: http://orngefriday.tumblr.com/post/32658805850/chameleontardis-evil-sherlock-holmes

I'm sure the show is actually okay and I'm just bashing the balls out of it because I'm mean and utterly shamefully biased. XD

I haven't yet watched a new "drama" show that doesn't make the characters seem so superficial AT FIRST. I find most first episodes like a crazy rollar coaster ride, trying desperately to reel you in by its ~amazing~ plot and just using the characters to forward the plot and not add anything of value to it.

I think the backstory with Joan and Sherlock might be interesting but they skim over it so quickly in this episode that it doesn't have any room for me to cling onto the character and like the character. Maybe later on in the series...

Yep. Have you watched the show?

I'm going to watch BBC Sherlock and see if I can find any plotholes (but I've watched the first episode at least 10 times... still love it LOL). I really thought the case was forced and farfetched... Or I just couldn't believe anybody could force their wife to do plastic surgery...

Ah, I might go and watch Elementary again to sniff out why the husband wanted her dead. That does sound like a pretty good reason. Did she come from a really rich family? I don't remember LOL

Yeah! I liked Lucy Liu and her outfits. Very New York-ish. She seems like such a lone dog. I wonder what happened to her. I'm only interested in her and not in Sherlock at all. I could probably watch the whole show if only Watson was in it. XD
