Ryan and I found an apartment in Seattle this weekend! It is a "Mother-In-Law" apartment, which is apparently the basement of someone's house. In this case, it is the basement of one dude's house and it's actually a pretty big, nice place with reasonable rent and all utilities included. It's in the Greenwood neighborhood, which we both like, and

i'm pretty sure we at one point offered to rent out our basement to quincy for like $50/mo. and i think he actually considered it for a second.

basement apartments are pretty cool. i mean they're cool in the summer, hot in the winter, but smells seem to stay there more than other places, plus if something gets fucked up, you're the first place that floods but w/e.
