I find that I, myself, incline to believe much what you have described. But if you really want a disquisition on the nature of "sin" and how certain strains of theology define doing something wrong against God, I'll cheerfully ride that hobbyhorse for you. That's me - always happy to be a pedantic nerd.

(And I think that what you are doing here - the simple act of writing down what is painful - is at least a small step toward comprehending how things might heal.)
