Yeah, plus on top of it the director was almost as weird as the guy the film was about. The whole thing just doesn't settle. It could have been an interesting film but it's just presented ... fucking weird. Weird.

Director? Weird? Hm. I didn't get that at all! What about those warm fuzzy things he was always saying like "Timothy believed in harmony and connection. I believe in CHAOS; MURDER; and DEATH!"
Full of optimism, that guy.

Not to mention his seeming obsession with the events surrounding Timothys death (The movie would have been so much better had it not become a weird inbred sob-story) ... and his interviews with Timothys friends involving many a weird-ass question!
