I don't remember the last time I related so much to an article as I did with this story in today's New York Times. While reading each new inhabitant's story, I constantly grinned and nodded in understanding because they I could relate exactly to some of them (so much so that it was almost eerie). I have recently developed a strange fondness for economic topics after taking ECON251 Microeconomics and ECON252 Macroeconomics for consecutive semesters. This article about the myths of stagflation and its unfair reputation as a sign of a downsloping economy really ties a lot of concepts together learned in class. A practical read indeed.

To be honest, this wasn't the most exciting project because of a) the content, and b) the lack of direction. Also, I felt like I could have done a lot better on it (eg. made a less amateur look) if I was allowed more artistic liberty to do what I want to do.
