This is so embarrassingly late.

Halloween Tree (1993) - Jenny, Tom, Ralph, Joe "Pip" Pipkin
With the internet over-abundant in both fanaticism over cartoons and nostalgia for all things '90s, I'm not sure why this is such a neglected (and, well, non-existent) fandom. It's Bradbury at his best, with an ambitious plot, a gorgeous score, and a surprisingly solemn ending for a children's special.

Suffice it to say, I'll greedily lunge at anything you'd like to write for me.

Back stories of the characters, what happens the Halloween after, what happens to the kids as adults... anything.

Although I'm as obsessed with Halloween as the characters, I'm especially interested in the relationships between them - their collective hero worship of Pip, Jenny dealing with being the only girl in the gang, Tom's feelings of inferiority, Ralph managing to shoulder both the nerd and wise-ass roles at once. If you'd like to continue exploring Moundshroud's connection to the mythology and history of the holiday, I am all for it, but I'd still like to see the kids make an appearance, too.

Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated (TV 2010) - Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Fred Jones, Norville "Shaggy" Rogers
I adore every single thing about this show. The characters, the art direction, the intricate mystery arc, the humor, the music, the subtle nods and affectionate ribbing towards nearly every earlier incarnation of the show (Vincent Van Ghoul is perfection), the mythology, the homages to classic horror films... man, it goes on.

The meddling kids are my favorite part, and just about anything written about them and their dynamic will please me beyond reason. Though I still love the original series, it's refreshing to see all of the kids painted as equally flawed and interesting and funny and sympathetic, instead of the bias towards Shaggy and Scooby the earlier shows took. (The fact that Fred is my new favorite character never ceases to astound me.)

If you're not in the mood to write about the Scooby gang, I'm also fascinated by the original Mystery Inc and their tenuous connection to their "modern day" equivalent. And the even earlier groups of Four People And An Animal interest the hell out of me, too (especially the Steampunk people and the Wild West Cowgirls), so if you've been itching to explore their stories, go for it! Not to mention Crystal Cove's many other cheerfully deranged citizens, most of whom I love to pieces. Maybe Sheriff Bronson Stone tries to bust Mayor Jones out of prison? What does Vincent Van Ghoul do on his day off? Does Marcie ever attempt to join Mystery Inc again? Even the gang's parents have become layered and interesting (Fred's especially) - maybe they're all called into a group Parent/Teacher conference regarding their meddling kids?

As far as pairings, don't feel obligated to include any, but my preferences include Fred/Daphne, Velma/Marcie, Ricky/Cassidy, Sheriff Stone/Mayor Jones, and Fred/traps. (And the kids of Mystery Inc are really my OT4.)

I'm pretty easy in that almost anything you write about this show is guaranteed to make me happy.

Mad Men - Peggy Olson, Ken Cosgrove, Michael Ginsberg, Stan Rizzo
Season 5 was appallingly lacking in crazy shenanigans between Peggy, her crew of Creative misfits, and the human rainbow that is Ken Cosgrove, Accounts. I'm still disappointed that the season didn't end with them forming their own agency and hiring Father Gill to be their official pot dealer. (C'mon, he so clearly became a dealer.) Anything you write exploring the relationship(s) between ANY of these characters will rank you very highly on my Favorite People list. Gen, het, slash, poly, whatever! I'm fine with all of it. Cameos by other characters are cool (Joan, Betty, and Lane are my other faves, if you've got an idea just crazy enough to work that might feature any of them), but restrict any sub-plots featuring Don, if you please, because he gets enough screentime as it is, and also, I hate him.

Missing moments from or in-between Season 4 or Season 5, the aftermath of Season 5, the guys' reactions to Peggy abandoning the sausagefest that SCDP has become, etc... have at it!
