So I'm finally in Tokyo. This place is awesome and just as I imagined. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, even if they don't speak English. The men are definitely something to look at and I've been eating all the Japanese food my stomach can take

Are you studying there?
The girls you were talking about sound like gyaru. Were they kind of tan with long extensions and skimpy clothes? Or if they weren't gyaru they sound like yuppie tokyo girls who don't work but are really rich.

some good shopping places are shibuya, harajuku, ikebukuro, shinjuku,which are all on the yamanote line. if you in harajuku on a sunday, i suggest going to yoyogi park right next to the station. there's lots of people and sometimes there are free live shows. it's a good place to picnic and watch people.
if you don't mind venturing out of downtown, my favorite place in tokyo is shimokitazawa. you can get there by either taking the odakyu or keio line. it's fantastic for thift shopping, boutiques, cafes, record shops etc. the charming part of it is that the streets are pretty narrow and it feels kind of old. there are cute boys there too!
