NEW MONITOR.
NEW MONITOR.

I didn't see this when I was busy spamming you with: WHUT SOUYA DID TODAY AT THE NIGHTMARKET.

But drawing is your life, so TABLET.

P.S. What ever I said, make it reverse.

While a new monitor is alot of fun, if you use your tablet alot (which knowing you, you do), I'd go with the thing that's giving you the most trouble o.O Which seems to be the tablet~

That's what I thought too, my monitor functions perfectly fine and what I think is that a new tablet I can actually feel a difference instead of the monitor.

Ru, take it from me, a LCD monitor that is that cheep means its going to be a piece, i got one for around that price, it is -HORRIBLE- about burn in, don't bother with an LCD unless you can get a more top of the line model, I've cursed every day I've spent with this lemon of a monitor @_x

What brand was it? O_o I was looking at either Acer or ViewSonic. The latter brand is the brand of my current monitor and Acer I think my sister's old monitor was that one and that one was pretty old and gave us no problems either.

well the problem with LCD monitors is that they are kind of deceptive, burn in is not listed nor is it measured anywhere, but if you look at all of the LCD models, you will note that they are mostly all the same, most of the specs are similar if not identical, so brand plays nothing into it, what you pay for when you get a higher brand model is the burn in protection

CRT monitors, flatscreen or not don't have this problem, so picking up a cheepy is no big deal, it might have a few color or brightness problems but beyond that, no big deal, LCD are a totally new ballgame though, their quality is near identical, its the burn in that is the big deal, viewsonic and acer are both good monitor companies, but so is the one my monitor is from, Mag, but the cheep models always suffer from huge amounts of burn in

I never even knew about that 8D Thanks a lot for the explanation. I think I'll go with the tablet this time around, at least I will have fun drawing even on my small monitor 8D.

New shiny monitors are overrated; if yours work perfectly fine, then there's no reason to get rid of it, at least not at the moment especially if you're having trouble with your tablet. I'd definitely go with the tablet.

Yeah that's what I thought too D:, like my monitor works perfectly fine now so it's more like a want than a need, where as my tablet is kinda wooky. The reason is that the tablet will cost me an arm and a leg >__>.

But yeah I think I'll go with the tablet, I'll probably have more fun with it than the monitor 8D.
