Allen Ginsberg is great. He actually had a poem, Hum Bom, which he added sections to and performed a lot during the first Gulf War. It's sad, I'm not sure if there's anyone writing like that in this generation, that gets press like Ginsberg did.

It's hard to fight so much apathy, BUT there are a lot of us who want change, so we shouldn't get too discouraged.

I was more teary-eyed about those ammendments and so many of the Democrats losing their seats in Congress than about the presidential election only because those were the things I couldn't vote for. There is more that all of us can do, though. It sucks that most people didn't think of that until now.

Well, all we can do now is look forward. A lot of people's eyes have been opened, so what we need to do is not lose the momentum that has been building.

We will fix this country someday, but we can't do that by giving up. :)
