Oh sure, go to Berkeley *after* I have headed off to Tokyo. ;-)
Man, D&D---I haven't played that in *years*. Mostly did 2nd Ed. back in the day, although I did a bit of 3rd Ed. in college. I think my parents may have finally gotten rid of all of my stuff, which is too bad, because I had a lot of it and it was pretty cool. :-/ Although admittedly I had not used any of it in years.
My books have lain dormant for many, many years, too, but that doesn't mean they can't still make a come-back ;) If your parent haven't tossed 'em, maybe you can ask them not to...
I kick myself a lot, though. My dad had an old Advanced Dungeons & Dragons box (with book) and I thought it was so cool, but I think my mother tossed it when neither of us was looking. It would probably even be worth something by now, but mostly I would have wanted it :(
Different groups of friends. I try my best to coerce people into doing the interesting things I want to go do, but it only works with a very small subset each time :/ Basically, they're getting tired of me now and I won't get as many adventures out of them.
