I was reading about Colony Collapse Disorder (In particular, the CCD report - Which is a really great piece of work, but long. - and looked up the Varroa mite, to find out that one of the ways they suggest combating the mites is by sprinkling the bees with powdered sugar.

The idea of bees covered in powdered sugar is just too amusing not to share.

They should make special bee sugar.

Maybe make boxes with a bee carrying a sugar cube on the front.
