really irked that i have no explanation of the word "mcmansion" - can you elaborate?

Developers come into an older neighborhood, buy up the smaller, older homes, bulldoze them and build "supersized," "overstuffed" new houses--houses that take up the entire lot and tower above the surrounding homes.

yeah i gathered that

explanation of the term mcmansion. why are they called mcmansions?

is it because they are supersized and thus we call them mcmansions because it's like mcdonald's?

i'm sure it is. just lately i've been longing for clarity.

McMansion definition. The Austin news media and the ordinance supporters aren't using the word accurately.
