Spaghettios vs. "Tomato Rings"

Many times I have made this critical error in judgment. I can play the whole scene back for you: standing in the soup aisle (or sometimes the canned meat aisle, which I always thought was a gross term), perusing the broad selection of pasta meals in cans decorated with cartoon characters and in colors so garrish you think you're trapped in a border ( Read more... )

boxed mac-n-cheese has the same gulf of difference in taste between "finer" brands and the bright orange generic stuff...i suppose this is the perfect, safe, loving forum to also bring up that the spongebob mac-n-cheese has the most unpleasant texture...

be sure to post the reults of the "speed dating" stuff, including the hotel's room amenities!!..just kidding...

YES! The texture isn't right sometimes on the various shapes of pasta! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks so... it's the same with spaghettios... don't go for the dinosaurs or alphabet. It's just not the same.

Agreed. There are some things that you just don't cut corners on. (May I also advise you against HCF brand "chunky" soups. If you're going to eat it without puking, buy the Campbell's.)

yeah, see... I don't mind those so much, but that's probably because I'm not too familiar with the campbell's variety either... I also *like* "hot dog sauce," so don't listen to me.
