Meryl Streep is sooooo good. The movie is not very ummm, you know, deep, but it's very pretty to watch. Most of the film is set in NY, and one part is in Paris. And the clothes and shoes really are eye candy--an hour and a half of designer eye candy

So here I am with the new glasses. I picked them up yesterday. Be honest now... what do you think? Stephanie pointed out that they are probably too wide for my face, but you can't really tell that from the angle in the photo. I wish I had waited to pick them out until I could have had a friend there to help. Anyway, they do seem to fix the seeing

It's a sad day in America when NPR devotes a segment to American Idol.
Everytime I get a glimpse of Ryan Seacrest, all I think about is that pre-teen game show he hosted way back when called Click. Remember? ...back when the Internet was still a novelty.
Latest saga involves having to wear glasses in addition to contacs. frustrated and scared and sad.
