He certainly deserves something of importantance. He did a brilliant job...I keep forgetting that's him as I watch it. He took that character, already well known, and added a very fresh and more terrifying edge to him. You are actually scared of him, of what he's going to do next. I agree completely.

I mean, just the simple fact that I could hardly recognize the actor within his character, (and not for the interferance of prosthetics) attests to his mastery of his trade. His performance was absolutely AMAZING, and words cannot describe the life he truly brougt to the Joker. None can replace or even begin to compare to the levels of (for lack of a better word) creepiness that Heath totally owned with this character in this film. His performance was probably the best acting performance I've seen in nearly a decade.
