I will add you after surveying your journal for a few days. I apologize if this comes off wrong, but I have had numerous problems with a stalker on this website. She has recently reappeared, and has also used "dummy" journals to friend me and get access to my journal in the past. As such, I'm being very wary with who I friend, at least for the time being.

oh no worries! although i can absolutely assure you i am not a stalker, i wholeheartedly understand your need to be cautious. in fact, another LJ friend of mine also had a stalker/copier, and this person caused a lot of unncessary, frustrating troubles for both her and many others.
