Korra feels and all...

So finding a decent download of Korra last night and this morning almost proved impossible. But I gave in last night at half one, after having worked from 12pm til 2am on friday, then 12 til 10 yesterday, I was kind of ready to crack and very much in need of some sleep time.

So Korra spoiler for the episode and finale trailer

Lin and Tenzin have all my feels, ALL OF THEM. I'm so glad these two have stuck around and continued to be a presence, and a big one, with Korra and the new team. I'm not one of those many people who dislike the new kids, and don't even get me started on the Mako hate I've seen concerning this episode, though I'd have preferred to have seen some more on that front from Bolin too, but they could have so easily thrown Lin and Tenzin away as the two adults that try and stop mayhem and offer advice only. It's wonderful to see them get so involved and on the new team avatar.

I'm actually kind of glad they tied up the Tarrlok plot point so quickly, with only three episodes left it's a wonder the whole Amon thing can be put to rest, let alone another bad guy on top of him.

Now onto the finale trailer.

It kind of worries me that we don't see a lot of Bolin and it's pretty set in my mind that he's going to lose his bending. Which, in a way, kind of sets up his dark arc for the beginning of book two, and I think it'll be interesting if they do go that way as I've slowly found myself side-eyeing some of his comic relief only moments and been very disappointed with the way his development, or lack thereof, has been handled. For just twelve short episodes there's too many characters set up to explore properly and unfortunately, Bolin's a prime example of shoved to the side, maybe we'll get to him later.

I'm thinking and now hoping that as we see Korra knelt and Amon about to take her bending, she's going to go all avatar state right when he thinks he's taken her bending. That is now my headcanon. Also going with the theory that Yakone is Amon, it just seems too strange that Aang was trying to warn her about Tarrlok this whole time and his villainy gets tied up neat and tidy in one quick episode. I think there's more to this, any why bother showing he lost his bending?
